But today, we are focusing specifically on how to overcome objections in sales with “I have to talk to my spouse.”
That ones hard for me because I do talk to my spouse about big decisions. I want spouses to communicate and be on the same page. So out of integrity, I don’t want to come between someone and their spouse. And I still want them to say YES!
So here’s a couple of tips and then watch the video for more information.
- Find out what their spouse will say and why they want to talk with them.
- If the spouse is likely to say yes, get the registration filled out and then don’t process the order until after they have talked with their spouse.
- If the spouse will have a lot of questions, schedule a time for the three of you to get on a call.
- If the spouse is likely to be unsupportive, talk to your client about asking for support vs asking for permission. It will help the conversation be much more positive.
